Lost some HD channels... Alignment, software or other?

I have a HR20/100 and on Tues 5/12 got the 0x2f4 software update. In the past few days I've been having problems viewing a few of the HD channels such as 311 ABCFHD, 360 FNCHD, 552 HDNM, and 640 MASNaHD. Most of the other HD and standard def channels are coming in fine. When I ran the diagnostics, it tells me I have a satellite dish alignment problem and displays diagnostic code 43-802. Anyone have any ideas? Is it my dish or the software upgrade?

99% chance your dish has moved out of alignment. Check the signals for the 99c and 103c satellite screens. All the transponders should show signals in the 80s at least. My guess is you will find that at least 99c shows low signals.
If you see a repeating patterm of zero signals (i.e. all the odd-numbered transponders or all the even ones are zero) this usually means a cable/connector problem. If your signals are just low then it's probably dish alignment).

I have the same problems on the same channels including
a few non hd such as cspan.

This is only on 1 h20, and it is due to a bad port in my multiswitch. The tech people had me check single strength and on the first sat they noticed i had the dreaded odd/even problem, i had 90's on odd and 0 on even transponders.

lastly, i also had no signal on the test channels 480,481,483, 482 had the correct info.

The tech will be at my house on Wednesday.
