New led tv

i have bought the new samsung 7100 LED tv and i am seeking some advice for picture settings to ensure a crisp clean picture. (ie: automotion plus 120Hz, digital NR, and all that jazz)

has anyone found a group of settings that have worked best for them and care to share with a newbie??

any help will be much appreciated!

I recommend if you own a BD player or HDDVD player and or a PS3 you should calibrate it with DVE (Digital Video Essentials) HD Basics it comes in a Blueray and HDDVD media format. That way you can adjust your new HDTV where you place it and not use the settings of someone else. Viewing distance, lighting, etc...in your home makes a big difference. There are more threads in this forum that can also guide you.

Exactly. What works for someone else may not work in your house, as each house is different. Definitely purchase the DVE disc. It's inexpensive and works really well. :2cents
