Directv Tivo R10 hookup in a condo situation..

Hello,

I have read some guides on how to get this done...but I'm not 100% sure on what, exactly, I will need to purchase.

I live in a bldg with 90 units....we all feed off of one dish. They have to stack the signal in order for all of us to be able to use just this one dish.
My old directv receiver apparently had a destacker built in...but yesterday I upgraded to the R10 (which doesn't have a destacker built in). So, I need to destack the signal in order to use my new tivo box.

Can anyone help me with what I will need? Here is how my place is wired:

I have 1 cable coming into my unit to a box that has a splitter that sends one coax to each room.

I found this:

but I don't see the purpose of splitting the signal into 2 tuners for each box. My old box only had one piece of coax and it worked fine for all channels. Why would I need to have 2 pieces of coax feeding into one tivo receiver?

Things I know I need:
Destacker

the rest is a mystery....any help would be appreciated.

Looks like a dual tuner receiver, for Picture in Picture, or Tivo while watching something else.

I'm having trouble finding much anything about "destackers"...

I used to install for DishNet and had heard plenty of stories of commercial installs with 30+ units. I understand the mechanics of it, but have never seen the actual equipment.

Have you spoken to the management? What do they have to say about getting service? Maybe they have a line on the correct equipment.

Holy crap, that's expensive. The management offered to install it (w/destackers and all the equipment) for $150. Me, being the tight a$$ that I am, can't justify spending this much $ on a place I'm only going to be living in for 8 more months. So...I guess I'll take back the R10 and wait until my next home before I get tivo. Thanks for the help.
