I had my eye on Samsung LN26A450 and was just watching sales when I noticed today that Best Buy placed it in their Outlet. This surprised me because every time they get it in locally, they sell right out. In fact, even now, it's sold out. I went to Sears, who had carried the LN26A330 and noticed they no longer had it but they had a different model - LN26B360. I had never seen this before in all my searches. So I thought maybe this is a new version, since it went from A to B. And wondered if maybe this explained the A model being in Best Buy's outlet. However, when I go to Samsung's website, this model is listed nowhere. I did notice in the larger screen sizes that have B models, but no 26". Does anyone know if these are new models they are putting out or this an older version? I haven't been able to locate an upgraded model to the 450 that I was originally interested in.

I believe the "B" version IS the new model released. Many time mfg do not get the model up on the website before it is out in the stores. It will likely be there soon.

I do not know much about this model, but generally the new models do improve the PQ over the prior model, but at a higher initial cost when compared to the clearance prices on the out going model.

I would try to compare the 2 models and consider the price difference to make your choice.

Good luck & hope this helps!

Thanks for verifying that for me! I will have to keep an eye on the prices & for more information on the newer models. This is the first week I have seen them so hopefully in the weeks to come, Samsung will post more info to compare. Thanks again!

Samsung LN26B360 (http://www.squidoo.com/SamsungLN26B360) is one of Samsung bestseller LCD HDTVs for under $450 price. The picture colors are vivid and the sound is crisp. It also has a user-friendly new style remote. This HDTV is suitable to put in a small bedroom. I hook it up to a cable TV and notice no blurry or pixelation on fast-paced sports programs and action movies.
