Ad featuring Angelina Jolie ordered off UK TV

Sometimes I forget the freedoms I take for granted in this country of the good ole US of A.

LONDON - A TV ad showing actress Angelina Jolie firing weapons must not be shown because it could be seen as condoning gun violence , Britain's advertising watchdog said Wednesday. (http://movies.yahoo.com/news/movies.ap.org/ad-featuring-angelina-jolie-ordered-off-uk-tv-ap)

I'm assuming that these advertising 'watchdogs' can only influence what the British people see as advertisements, but they can still buy any and all dvds that they would like.

Anybody on this forum from across the pond?

What, if any restrictions, does Parliament and the Queen put on your choice of entertainment freedoms?
