I'm here in Delaware and I get the MASN out of Balto./Wash. area. Channel 626 gets the Nationals (baseball) broadcast games. Channel 629 gets me the Orioles games but what i cannot understand is that they say that certain games (Orioles) will be seen on the MASN network. When game time arrives, the game is not
televised...anyone know why is that?

It is a long story (search on Washington Post and Washington Times articles this week for details). Actually the Orioles (Peter Angelos) and MLB (current owner of the Nationals) created MASN for broadcasting Orioles and Nationals games. Comcast (Comcast Sports Net currently is under contract to carry the Orioles) is suing for breach of contract to stop MASN from carrying the Nationals and taking over the Orioles. Since Comcast is the major cable supplier in the Washington/Baltimore Area, they are not allowing the Nationals on their cable systems, so the Orioles and MLB are suing (or going to the FCC) against Comcast. And as confusing as all of this is, this means that Peter Angelos, who fought against Washington from getting a team is now fighting FOR THEM to be televised. Only DirecTV and one non Comcast cable system have reached an agreement to televise them. Channel 20 in DC carries the National games (from MASN) on weekends.
