H23, do you have one that works?

It appears that I am constantly losing my signal to my H23600 receiver. New lnb, new lines, new box, and while viewing my signal strength on 103b, it drops from 94 to zero every few seconds. Not sure what is causing this, but the problem is that I lose audio, and video on HD channels. Grr.
A friend of mine had the same issue and upgraded to HDDVR and no problems sense. I just don't want to spend hundreds more for HD. Any one have similar problems, solutions, or just have good luck with this box?

My H23-600 has been problem free for me. I would give D* a call to solve this issue or a have them initiate a truck roll.

curious, are you using the new SWM system or the conventional switch?

Not SWM. No switch. Just five element LNB, single cable to ground block (tested that too), single line to receiver. No other receivers. Swaped that out as well with the same results. I don't know what other info you would need. It is pretty straight foward. I live near cincinnati, I drink beer, standard def channels work fine....HD dosen't. Dish has been professionally lined up twice.

First, yes - there are many reports of severe fluctuations in the signal meter on the H23 as well as the signal strength screens. This is strictly a user interface related issue and has no impact on picture / video quality. If you are having audio/video issues with your H23, it's caused by something different.
Post back with your signals on 99a and 103b, all transponders. Post the maximum signal strength you see on each transponder (i.e. ignore the fluctuations).
