I've had this plasma for three weeks now and am completely satisfied with it. I'm not one of those people who really get into the specification details. I've looked at enough HDTV's to get a good idea of what I like and what I don't. When I personally looked at the 800 and the 850 I found very little difference in picture quality. I've set mine to studio reference as was suggested by others. The inaguration concert on HBO was absolutely fantastic, I could almost reach out and touch Bruce.

What sold me on the 850 was the RJ-45 jack. From everything I've been reading IPTV is the coming thing. While it's not yet mature everyone I've read says it will explode in the near future. All movie studios will be delivering newly released movies over this medium as will other media outlets. I'm also stoked on how the Internet will use it. With Panasonic hooked up with Google I can't begin to imagine what applications I'll be able to connect to and, talk about cloud computing....well I'm just waiting.

Google is the greatest collector of data on individuals ever. They know more about you then anyone, anyone. There are many privacy issues concerning the way they collect private data and use, sell or lease it. They incessantly track, monitor and collect data about without your permission or knowledge and they know absolutely everything about you, your personal life, credit scores, purchases made, where you live, how much money you make, credit card and Social Security numbers etc. No way will I ever let Google into my computer or life be it via a TV, Blu-ray disc or radio. They are insidious, you have absolutely no privacy whatsoever and they sell this information to whoever is willing to pay.

No Google anything for me thank you in any way shape or form. Anyone who uses G Mail has each and every email they send or receive read by Google. Google this and Google that, why do you think they give this stuff away? It isn't free, you pay for it with your privacy.

I agree with L2W about Google knowing so much about anyone who uses their "free" services.

Just Google it and you will see all kinds of info about this. :D :p

This day and age either Google or Microsoft owns you and your computer. That is unless you use Linux, MacOS or an alternative operating system and no Google.
