Question about Low Pass Crossover (Sub)

01-27-2009, 12:12 AM
Hi i just bought the ProSub 800 and on the back it has a setting Low Pass Crossover. It goes from 40-150. Could someone explain what that is and what i should set it to. Thanks

Both owners manuals of the sub and receiver should give you some guidelines as to where the crossover point should be. If you would like our help, it will be necessary to give us the following information - receiver make and model, sub make and model, speaker makes and models. The preceding information is needed for the members here to help you make a proper adjustment/setup.

We will await your reply.

I have the Onkyo 606 and Onkyo speakers. SKS-HT540 minus the sub. My sub now is the Definitive Pro 800. After i ran Audeyess I got the following.

Front 60hz
Center 60hz
Surround 120hz
Lpf of Lfe 120hz

Is that ok, and on the back of the sub what should i set the crossover to. Thank You.
