In-wall speaker receivers

I have been looking around for an in-wall speaker setup with the reciever and everything.

I do not want a surround sound system, I want a system like at a doctors office or something like that. Something that will play radio, cd's, and maybe ipod though out my house or office.

What should I be looking for? What is it call? Does anyone know a good place to find this stuff at a good price?

Thanks in advanced.

When I bought my house, the previous owner had speakers mounted into the ceilings of the master bedroom and kitchen. He had ran those speaker wires to a broom closet. I decided to put speaker on my patio and wired those to the same closet. I added a multi-port audio switcher from Niles (6 channels with individual controls), a cheap Sony receiver, a cheapo CD player and an iPod dock in that closet. I can now listen to music in all areas or just certain ones.

I don't know if this is the kind of info you are looking for or not.

Just about any cheap receiver would do for this setup. I didn't need HDMI or anything special. The Sony model is the STR-DE197 (link) (http://www.amazon.com/Sony-STR-DE197-STRDE197-Stereo-Receiver/dp/B00022RV9E/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1233052271&sr=1-1) I think I paid about $150 for it a couple of years ago. It's nothing fancy but does the job nicely.
