For $1499.00 I would be looking at the V or W series.
Also, the model you mentioned is $1199 at Best Buy. This model is also almost at the bottom of the food chain.
If it were me I would go for the W series.

Your saying its bad? And how do you know what series it is? And are you sure its 1199.00$ at best buy? Is it 46"?

I dont think he's exactly saying its "bad," rather its just at the bottom of the SONY HDTVs. Its like supposing you have an iPod Touch 16gb and an iPod Shuffle 2gb: the shuffle isnt bad, it just has less features, very simple, budget product, but it isnt bad. Jesus, so sorry for the horrible example, but i hope it makes sense

And the series is in the model number. In your case, you want the "KDL46S4100" which is the S series. Usually thats how it is for a lot of HDTVs. Sony will have the S,W,V,L etc; Samsung will have the 3,4,5,6 series numbers at the end of the model #, etc; Panasonic will have the pz, px, etc, etc, etc - I hope you get it.

Finally, upon checking BB, cheezz is right - its on sale for $1199 and the W series that he suggested is only a few hundred more. :)

If i iz in teh wrong in my facts, anyone is welcome to correct me. :D

Sorry to hear you are such a Sony elitist when Samsung is making some of the best LCD displays currently available.
