I bought sumsung Hps 5053 less than 2 year ago it woun't turn on and it is making a clicking sound in the back.
Sumsung Executive Customer Service do not acknowledge me( i personally think that the title is a joke). I am aware that the same problem exist with other sumsung models.Does any body knows how to resolve this predicament.

Call an authorized Samsung repair facility and schedule a repair.

Perform a hard power off reset. Unplug the unit from the wall for at least 8 hours. Then plug the unit back into the outlet and try to turn on the TV.

My Samsung HP-S4233 did the same thing about a year after I bought the thing. Since I did the reset, I haven't had any problems.

The main power supply board (SMPS) has a protection relay that will shut the power off when it detects any voltage irregularities from any of the circuit boards connected to the SMPS. The protection relay is causing the clicking sound.

I would suggest, if the power reset works, to buy a UPS (1500) and run your TV off it.

I have one sammy that has been repaired after (2) years, I won't buy another Sammy for that reason.
