Ok so I just got all my other gear today and put this bad boy together. Everything is setup. I did the Auto calibration.

1. It detected no Center Speaker...
(So I went into the menu to add it, but still nothing coming from it.)

2. I hooked up my Wii, I can hear the sound but cannot see video.
RCA's is the way it is connected

3. Xbx 360 connected via component.
No video

Ok it has my center speaker during Blu-ray movies. I am watching Wall E...

However it doesn't have my rear surrounds left or right working now, but it does have the side ones working.

I have my 360 plugged into the CBL/SAT component section with the audio int he red/white CBL/SAT section... NO VIDEO or AUDIO being seen or heard.

The Wii was connected I believe to the DVD IN with RCA's. I got AUDIO but no VIDEO.

I seriously need help.

And anyway to get the surround back speakers to be heard with everything or are these the extra two speakers that wont be used in a 5.1 movie?

Looks like all video can be sent through the HDMI output on the reciever. Ok so why isn't my Wii and 360 video not being sent through HDMI?

It wont let me assign them to an HDMI.

I have tried all two Component INPUTS and have switched the INPUT selectors multiple times.

1. I do have audio from my Xbox360.

2. I still have zero video.

Could this be a bad receiver?

Someone has to have an answer here, come on.

I am at my wits end trying to figure this one out.

I have the Xbox 360 plugged into the DVD IN Component in the back of the reciever and the AUDIO is going to the DVD AUDIO in RED/WHITE inputs.

I get the audio but no video, WTF is going on here. I have tried setting the assignments and no luck.

"Someone has to have an answer here, come on."

You posted 10 times in 5 hours - but you need to wait at least 24 hours before you bump a post or expect a reply.

When you reply to your own post saying you fixed something, it's helpful to post what you did to fix it. Without that information, we might ask you to do a step you already did.

Did you read the manual for the receiver, and make sure you set it to upconvert all component to HDMI? Did you connect the Xbox directly to the TV via component cables to make sure component output works?

Post the settings you are using for your receiver (what is connected to where, how you configured the software portion of the receiver, etc).

You should learn how to quote properly...

One don't tell me how many times I can post in a day or an hour.

Two yes I am reading the manual and it is honestly of no help.

Three the Nintendo Wii was fixed by mistake and I don't honestly know how I did it. I am not messing with it so why bother explaining it, when I can't anyways.

Four, HDMI is set for AUTO. Like I said before I have tried the Component DVD and CBL/SAT and have put both on IN 1 and IN 2. The audio RED/WHITE for the 360 is hooked up to the DVD Audio IN.

Congratulations on spitting in the face of someone who is 1) trying to explain general forum etiquette to you and 2) trying to get more information to better troubleshoot. I definitely will steer clear of any of your future posts, since it's obvious you don't really want my help.

You are on your own.

I don't want help from people that are going to give me the tenth degree before they help.

Just give me the help and I move on and so do you. If your so hell bent on your damn soap box to get whatever little dogooder crap out, do it somewhere else.

Called ONKYO and they said it is probably a bad Component board. And to send it back where I got it and get a replacement.

This is just wonderful, how I love technology.

Taking it back tomorrow and getting a replacement for it.

If that doesn't work, I wont be getting another one. I will be asking for a credit and will be using that credit towards a Laptop.

Sounds to me like you have a faulty ground in your home wiring system somewhere. I doubt a new receiver would resolve that.

Then that would be the apartment complexes problem to fix.

I don't check the forum until night time when I'm at work, anyway, it's supposed to work with component in and HDMI out, so I hope they'll fix it for you, or you can do what I do and connect the 360 straight to the tv via component and use the optical cable to the 6100 for sound.

Get a battery back up/surge protector, not only to protect your 6100, but everything else connected to that power outlet as the 6100 will create power surges, they even recommend it in the manual, Luckily I already had one set up.

The plan now is to connect everything to the TV when the TV gets fixed and to run the audio to the receiver.

Can you please link us to a battery backup system.

Right now I don't want to spend more money then I have to so maybe this system will have to be put on hold.
