Is it hard to install an HD receiver w/ VIP622 myself?

Right now I have a VIP 622 installed, using the HD tuner in the living room and the 2nd standard def tuner in the bed room.

I want to move the standard def hook up to the cable outlet in the basement and install a regular HD receiver for the bedroom.

How hard is this to do myself? I am an IT guy so am somewhat fluent with electronics. Will i need another switch for outside? I can probably figure out how to move the standard def signal to the basement by just connecting the coax from the basement to where the bedroom coax is currently. But im not sure about adding the extra HD receiver.

Thanks for any help (or diagrams)

well you need to add a second cable out the dish 1000 and run that to the bedroom.

assuming you have dish 1000, assuming your not at the equator like FL or whatever, assuming you have rg6 ran already and not rg59, assuming you know how to connect the cable to the basement...

I thinks we need some more info.......

Checking the Check Switch screen on the receiver will give you some info as to what is there. It doesn't always tell you everything, but it is a start.
