Guys, This is the Toshiba that is 40" but has a width less than 37". Anyone have it, or have any input on it?

Thanks!!

TV screen sizes are measured diagonally so that is the reason for the 37" width. It's an exceptional TV, Great picture, deep blacks and in my opinion, the best LCD on the market.

isnt that the one with the "super narrow bezel" which would be why it is smaller than a 37 inch.

Yes, it's the one with the skinny bezel. I'm now undecided between the Samsung LN37A550 and the Regza 40" to go in a spot 37" wide.

I'm nervous/unsure about the Toshiba quality, that's why I'm asking.

From my experience, Toshiba quality surpasses Samsung in regards to HDTVs.

i just bought a toshiba recently. the reason i went with them is i did a search of "samsung," "sony," "sharp," and the other major brands and toshiba had the least amount of topics of people having problems with them.

Water, are you happy with the performance thus far?

yes, im very happy with it. i bought the 42hl67u, its a 720p set. i've only had it 2 1/2 weeks but so far i'm very impressed with it. SD looks pretty good, HD looks amazing. no stuck/dead pixels, no problems at all with it. the only complaint i have is a petty one....input labeling isnt what i thought it was. i thought you could name the inputs whatever you wanted, instead its pick from a list. not really important but when you have 4 video game consoles hooked up to different inputs all labeled the same thing its easy to forget which is which.
