Aspect Change with Channel Change

I find that if I start off in zoom on Comcast's hi-def MoJo channel (used by Fox Sports for Mariner ballgames in hi-def) and switch briefly to, say, CNN, to catch primary election results, the aspect ratio changes when I switch back to the ballgame and I have to adjust the aspect ratio back to zoom (which I use to break-in my plasma by lopping off the score tracker at screen top).

This is mildly annoying, but I'm mostly just curious about the phenomenon. Is the Panny plasma defaulting to "full" as a response to a switch from a digital channel to and analog channel and back again?

Should not the current plasma aspect ratio be neutral re channel switches?

Are you switching between HD and SD? That might do it.

I'm not sure about a Panny, but my Pio has an "Auto" option where it will stretch the screen if it detects a non-widescreen display.

I am switching between HD and SD since the MoJo channel is HD and the CNN channel is definitely not. It might be that as each channel is received by the panel set after having been selected by the STB the panel recognizes the "new" channel as if the set has just been initially booted up.

I would check the settings on the box as well.
