wwhhhaa.. daa.. ffuuuccccc.?

Sony has revealed that the upcoming Siren: Blood Curse(aka new translation) will in fact be released as a series of downloadable episodic content for the PlayStation Network later this year.

Officially unveiled at the company’s PlayStation Day event yesterday, Blood Curse will be split into "twelve TV-style, suspense-packed downloadable episodes,” each of which are due to be released over short intervals starting this summer.

again... WTF?? im already not liking that idea.. 12 episodes, that means each one better cost no more then $5! .. and to have them available "over a period of time" is fucking retarded.. "here let me go play episode 1......... two weeks later episode 2...... " ..

That is stupid unless they release them 1 week apart. I wonder how long each episode will take. The new Alone in the Dark is doing the same episodic content BS.

I guess developers think waiting and anticipating is the best part of gaming.

If I have learned anything from my experience with "episodic gaming" it's that those episodes won't be coming every week. More than likely they will be coming once a month or once every three months.

Or if your really unlucky they may come once every year like Valve does. :o

Bottomline... episodic gaming sucks. Except for Sam & Max. :D

i didnt know alone in the dark was doing the same thing?!? FCK!!!!. .. sony said (hahah) that for siren the downloads would be very close together, so if all goes well it "should" be once episode per week considering there are 12 episodes (which would span 3 months).. if they push it to 1 episode per 2 weeks thats going to be 6 months.. and if they do 1 episode per month (god forbid) .. thats a whole year?! who the hell is going to buy these episodes?
