Probably leaving Dish

I talked to Dish again today just to make sure there was no way we could suspend our contract. The guy said that there was nothing they could do because it was a contract and my only option was to lower my programming to the lowest, or buy out the contract. I have 6 months left on the contract so it would be $78 or something to buy out the contract. I figure if they can't help me out then I might as well just buy the contract out and swithc to Direct. I cannot risk paying for 3 months of service that I would be unable to use. It'd be stupid to throw $120+ out the window. If we have to switch to Direct then it wouldn't be the end of the world because we would get all the perks of being a new customer and what not. Like we'd have a better opportunity to get HD and what not.

If your certain you want to switch to direct then I advise you to find anybody who has direct and have them refer you to direct so you both will recieve $50 for doing so...A lot of people don't know of this referral program or forget about it, it used to be $75...

This will help offset the early cancelation fee Dish will charge you...

You can find the link to do this in the dirct Question n Answers part of there website...Sorry I don't have time right at moment to look for it
