Chalk up at another reason to get 360 version... ;)

The folks at Xbox 360 Achievements (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/game/grand-theft-auto-iv/achievements/) (warning: minor spoilers in link) have posted the official achievement list for Grand Theft Auto IV. There are 50 gamerscore-increasing tasks you must accomplish for a total of 1000 points. The list is what you'd expect: complete all missions, do well on the minigames, and various other tasks that to reach 100% game progress (which itself is an achievement).

There are about ten achievements related to multiplayer, with one particularly interesting task to "Kill a Rockstar developer in a ranked multiplayer match" worth 10 points. Achievement completionists, you may need to boost your stalker skills for this one.

I wonder if that achievement has anything to do with Jack Thompson's "A Modest Video Game Proposal (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Modest_Video_Game_Proposal)."

Hehe.

I wonder where the bloke has been lately, because he seems to be awefully quiet. You figure he would start opening his noise hole now that GTAIV is literally launching in a couple days.............

He's in the media. He recently got them to pull some GTA IV ads from Florida, and is all happy they did the same in Chicago, IL.

On top of that, he wrote a letter to T2's (or was it R*) CEO's mother. You know, his usually crap "how does it feel to raise a child to peddle porn to kids" kind of crap.

He's actually under review by the BAR down in Florida. The ruling was suppose to be given last week, but the judge requested an extention up till August.

I hope he gets disbarred.

He gets regular coverage at: http://www.gamepolitics.com

JT is powerless, he's been so for the last year.

JT is such a laughing stock even within his fellow legal peers. I remember reading an article on him about how many of his associates began cutting off all contact with him because of his anti-violent video game crusade.

The man has some serious issues besides violent games...

The 'kill a game dev' achieve is more than likely going to be a viral.

CTA, Chicago Transit Authority?

I'm not sure if they missed it or are still in the process of removing them.

People are too effin' anal nowadays. All of a sudden people think this is a direct marketing campaign to under-age gamers.

"Go screw!"

I personally havn't seen him in the news lately, but i'm probably watching the wrong stuff. Funny thing is that if he was up here in OH, he probably would have gotten disbarred much more quickly that that other state disbarred him(was it AK or AL??). Ohio is a screwed up state, but they don't fool around with messed up lawyers like him. Heh, someone should take his ass onto Judge Judy or something............

He's licensed in Florida, and that i where is trial was done.

He got his visiting license denied from Alabama, or was it Missouri?

From everything I've read, he's a complete liar. But reading the transcripts of his trial, he's a smart son of a bitch.

Too bad he became obsessed with the videogame industry and has pretty much gone off the edge.

I would hope so. I hate achievements that are near impossible. Granted they shouldn't be easy, but I think ALL should be achievable with effort. The ones that you get for achieving a certain rank on a leaderboard is really either for those that play within the first few hours or for the best of best.

That is what makes so many people hate him so much. There is nothing wrong with using freedom of speech to express your opinions on something you don't like. The difference is when it becomes the obsession you talked about, and he starts lying and using lies to mislead weak minded people. The problem is that people like him make Christians look bad to the non Christian world.
