I am in Great Exuma, Bahamas. I get 110 at 95% and 119 at 95%. I have had no luck at all picking up ANY signal for 99 101 or 103? are these three sats spot beams for Florida?

I have mounted the Slimline 5LNB head on a 36 inch dish. Any suggestions?

tks

The slimline dish is adjusted for a max signal on an odd transponder from the 101 deg satellite in the azimuth and elevation positions and an odd transponder from the 119 deg satellite in the tilt position so I would say you are way out of adjustment to begin with.

You are correct. I have 3 dishes. One 36 inch dish pulling in 119 at 95%. Second dish is 36 inch pulling in 101 at 95%. Third dish is jury-rigged with a 5LNB slimline head. I can get 103B only at 36%. Not 110 or 99 as I had posted. Trying to figure out if it is worth it to try a 48 or 60 inch dish to get HD. Do I need all five signals? 99, 101, 103, 110, and 119?

Tks

To get most of the channels, you just need 101 for SD and 103c (same as 103b) for mpeg4 HD. The next mpeg4 HD sat will be at 99c when programming is activated sometime in the next few months. The few HD channels on 110/119 will be migrating to 99c/103c in the near future.

OK. Thanks. Should I expect to find signal now for 99 or 110? Is there any value in hooking up a dish for 72.5 and 95?

Thanks.

72.5 is for local channels and 95 is for international channels, so you probably don't need those. There are a few HD national channels on 110, so you should be getting that signal. I would not worry about the 99 signal until the new HD satellite starts up sometime between May and Sep.
