I found out from a Dish Network technician the other day that the 148 satelite signal changes once a year..it actually moves out of the regular orbit and the signal becomes weaker ..so atleast once a year you have to re position your satelite dish that gives you the 148 signal so you'll get a stronger signal again. Just thought I'd let all of you know about this.
Have a great week !

Normally all satellites drift out of position every few months. They correct it by giving it a small rocket burst every now and then. Are you sure that you need to reposition your dish?

Thats what the technician told me..to re position my satelite dish to face the 148 for a strong signal.

When I had Dish, and was looking at the 148* bird, I never had to adjust the dish. Sounds a little crazy, but that is Dish.

I think the tech is smoking something ilegal. Never, ever had to move my Dish in 11 yrs. I've had it........

I think the tech is looking for a steady service call every so often.
