Xplay says GT5 prologue looks amazing and sounds great

They give it a 4/5 despite being just a prologue...looks like this will be one my first titles for my new PS3:yippee:

Their review is pretty accurate I think, prologue is good but leaves you wanting more.

There are a few things they didn't touch on that are major drawbacks to it, and will hopefully be fixed by the full release:No private online matches or invites (BOO!) and online multiplayer has some sort of weird handicapping of the frontrunners to keep the field from getting too split up... or at least that's what it seems like to me. I scrap my way to the front of the pack and I feel like I've lost a fourth of my traction :mad:

Other than that it's great fun, I full expect it to keep me occupied till next week when gta4 comes out. I

GT5:P is a good racer. I think the whole "glorified Demo" talk is over done nowadays. The features in this "demo" put some full priced racers to shame (Carbon, I'm looking at you!)

Anyways, for $40 it isn't bad. Split it with a friend for the DL version (or friends) and you get a decent racer for cheap.

i still think for $40 its too much.. i decided not to buy it and just skip it.. save my money for MGS4 or something... theres alot of games im looking out for this summer.. if GT5P was maybe $29.99(same as warhawk for example) or something.. then yes i would have purchased it
