This is all I want to know. I want 46"(or 47), and I want the best picture possible for HD content and blue ray. Of course, I want the best price to do so, so I have set $1800 as my maximum.

I am thinking Samsung LNT4665F might be the best choice.

Your opinions??

Not a bad choice, my favorite of the lnt samsung line is the 81 series(a little higher than your price max) but these tv's have LED smartlighting that can help deepen the blacks of the tv giving it the highest contrast for any LCD. I personally do not like the sony LCD line because the blacks look really flushed out and grey. Sharp tv's have decent contrast, still see issues with the blacks and they also can not be fully ISF calibrated so im not a fan favorite. Cant go wrong with a sammy. Just remember there can be are more expenses when buying a new HDTV(cost for cables, BD player, cost for installation, wall mount(if mounting), professional calibration)
If you want a true home theater experience, then I would def recommend a surround sound system since the tv only has two 10w speakers. Klipsch quintet or the SL has great quality while still being fairly cheaper than most surround sounds. HTIB to me just sound really bad, especially the subs. Let me know what you decide to go with

Looks like a GREAT tv, but a "little" more?? Amazon's price on that one is $2800. Not sure that one will fit in the budget.

just picked up the 46" Toshiba 46RV530U (open item) at Best Buy. Price tag was $1,599.99 in the store and on Tiger Direct, but since it was open item I picked it up for $1,199.99, so far I'm lovin' it, the picture looks AMAZING!

Yeah, I have noticed that the price on Toshiba's are starting to come down a bit.

I don't think Toshiba gets enuf cred in competing with sony and samsung, IMHO.
