That's about it. $25 catalogs will go for $12.50 + tax, about what Amazon charges. The only difference is that Amazon has about everything available and you don't have to drive to the store to get it.

I like going to the store to get it instead of calling my wife 5 times from work asking "Has the UPS man showed up yet?"

Not sure where you work, but I have all my movies and other stuff sent to my office...

Same here. It's very convenient since I'm a lazy person by nature. :p

I work in a rather large facility, and it wouldn't be feasible. I suppose I could ask the boss man, but my wife is a stay at home mom, so it works out.

Except when shes gets a box with 5-6 HDM titles in it and sees the invoice:eek: :o

You do realize you can get a tracking number on amazon, right? Just keep a web page open and refresh from time to time.

Why does it matter anyway? If you know its arriving a particular day, why does the when that day matter?

Yeah, but I call to see how my baby is doing too. She melts my heart on the phone and makes the work day better.

The ONLY problem with amazon, is if you have any gratification issues when spending money. Amazon does ship fast, but its nice to have the movie right then and there.

That's true. However in my case I have a huge backlog of unwatched movies so I'm in no rush and besides I'm rather used to the shipping lag as I buy virtually all my media online these days. Each has their own benefit and it's nice to have a choice.
