Looking great so far. Hopefully they increase the number of players online.

Looks almost like the Crytech2 engine.

Is it?

If not then DICE has created one awesome engine for their game. It doesn't look or act like the Unreal Engine, and the only other engine I have seen that can do that is the Crytech2 engine. . .

More games need to come out with that engine.

+2 million. I'd like an adventure game to come out with it so you can actually spend time admiring the environments. Doesn't happen very often in Crysis.

I don't think it is the Crytech2 engine. Look at how the knife melee makes a wooden fence literally explode. That doesn't happen in Crysis.

They're both under the E.A. umbrella, so who knows.

imitation is the sincerest form of flattery

BTW

The unreal3 engine can look downright fugly in the hands of lazy or rushed devs. Look no further than Blacksite:Area 51. I rented it thinking it would make for a decent weekend of alien shooting. Boy was I wrong. Game is damn near unplayalble and looks like the original xbox.
