I have had this set since Dec. hooked up to a SA 3250HD STB through component cables. I switched to DVI yesterday which gives a better picture however I have noticed a flaw: there is a very slight bowing in at the black bezel border about midway on the left side of the picture. This defect is noticeable when there is a quick scan or motion in the picture. Incidentally I had a similar problem with my Sony Wega standard def tv a while back which was corrected by in- home service tech adjusting something in the service menu that moved the center of the picture horizontally. Is there a similar parameter in the Samsung service menu that will correct this as easily that I can perform that will prevent a service call? Interestingly enough when I revert back to the component connection the defect disappears. I am using a dual link DVI-D cable. Thank you.

Unless you have a solid understanding of the service menu and it's adjustments, I'd recommend you get a service call as done with the Sony. You can cause more problems than solve when making service menu adjustments. If the PQ with DVI is significantly better, then it's worth it.
