Alignment problem with new Sony

I put my THX test DVD in and noticed when it comes to testing the symmetry of your screen, it's not so good. It's a bit too low and to the right. Also, the left vertical line wasn't even straight up and down. Going from the bottom up it's ok until you hit about half way and then it starts curving towards the center a bit. Now, it's not that noticeable watching TV, but my question is, how perfect should these squares look. Is my TV in desperate need of calibration or are all TVs slightly off?

I have a Sony 55WF655. Using the THX screen, mine was shifted to the left, but was ok up and down. I went into my menu and used the game setting to shift it to the right. Think there is also another setting to adjust up and down. Mine is now centered. I do have one verticle line, the right one that has a small bow in it, but I am not sure this is all the tv. I hooked up my other cheapo dvd/VCR combo and the virticle lines were really bad on it.
One thing I have recently learned is that not all dvd players are created equal. I had never thought about this before (not sure why). Guess now I have to find a good dvd to match my tv.

This is adjustable by a service technician most likely.

My 30 " is the same way using the THX program. It was shifted to the left and the right line was a bit curved. Im using the playstation 2 as a DVD player right now. That may be the problem. Ill try a better DVD player as soon as the HDMI HD models come out and arent so high.

I have the same problem. How do you get into the game setting? Mine is grayed out and I can't get it.
