Yamaha Home Theater (7 years old), 2 optical inputs, no hdmi in's
Samsung DVD Burner -Component output, Optical output
Buying a new dvd player which will upoconvert although not sure which one (but know they all have hdmi output)
New Comcast HD Digital Box (should have at least an hdmi output)
Nintendo Wii
Ipod
Check the diagram i drew up if possible to let me know what you think?

Everthing looks good to me.. The only thing I would recommend is getting the Wii component cable instead of composite. This will allow 480p over 480i and a bit better PQ. You can get them for around $20 and would be well worth it IMO..

I think your TV has 2 Component video inputs, so with the DVR, your should be good to go.

And yes, that Monoprice cable is also "good to go"..
