We just bought a Sanyo HDTV and want to connect our VCR to it. We are using an indoor antenna and need to know the correct way to make the connections. With our old TV, we connected the antenna cable to the VCR, then the VCR to the TV. Is this done the same way to an HDTV? Couldn't get it to work right. How about the DVD?. Can we get some help on this please?

You will probably want to connect your antenna directly to tour HDTV. Your VCR probably does not have a high def reciever, but you HDTV probably does. Use the HDMI output or component output from your DVD player to connect directly to your HDTV. ( If your player does not have either connction, use a s-video connection)

I would connect the vcr seperately as well using a s-video connection. If you want to recoerd over-the-air programs on your vcr, use a coaxial splitter on your antenna before you connect to your HDTV. The splitter will give you two signals; one to the HDTV and one to the VCR.
