Splitting Audio Signal

Probably a dumb question, but here goes anyway. I have (1) Audio Out RCA connection on my TV. I want to send it to (2) Seperate sources. I have RCA cables that pigtail two connections into one. Will this hurt any of the components. I am driving two tower speakers thru my stereo, and wish to also drive a Pioneer wireless rear surround speaker, thru the same Audio Out connection. I am a little leary of trying it, as I do not want to do any damage.....any thoughts on this??

absolutely no problem using the rca 'y' cable to split the signal; that's what it's made for.

Thanks Bud, I kinda knew it was ok, but I haven't messed with any audio gear in years. I didn't even remember what they called them. Just needed some reassurance. 25 year old cables still doing the job, I am back in business.
