Wassup fellas! Bioshock is an incredible game, as those of you who have played it..or own it, are well aware. Problem is, i'm about half-way thru it and the damn game is skipping and stuttering almost constantly. Has anyone else encountered this..and is so, is there a way to solve it so that i can try to complete the game? Thanx.....

Send in your 360 to get it fixed just like everyone else. Sorry you can't play the game you bought anymore.

I think you misunderstand...there is nothing wrong with my system....NOTHING else has ever skipped. Just Bioshock..so why would i send it in for repair..when it's da game? I've had this system since the day it came out..by the way.

Wow, you are lucky I've been through 3 repairs. The first time I began playing Bioshock it began to hesitate about 1/3 of the way through I got frustrated with that and started over then I had no problems...If you have access to a game doctor maybe that will help the skipping disk... you may also try renting the game and see if there are issues with the rental?...Good Luck

Based on only three people who've had the same issue with another game (from articles) it may be the start of some future issues. Hopefully it's just the game for whatever reason, but unless someone steps forward and says they've also had the same issue with only that game...then you may be into some bad luck.

Bioshock has been owning people's Xboxes apparently. I was looking forward to getting it as soon as I got a 360, but I read the reviews and found out as awesome as it is, it's probably more trouble than its worth.

Might have to read through a few BS posts, but a lot of people are having problems with the game.

Clear the cache on the hard drive. The last update to the game messed it up. Once you clear the cache start it up and do not accept the update it should run fine. Directions for clearing the cache are : Go to the system blade and then select memory.

Press Y on the HD symbol and then press X,X,Left Bumper, Right Bumper, X,X. Once you do this a messsage will appear saying: Do you want to perform maintenance on your Xbox 360 storage devices?

Performing this function will also clear any software updates.

No you are just clearing your Cache, it is like temporary files to help a game run smoother less load times and so on. I barely learned this myself a couple weeks ago. It will not erase your saved games as those are hard filed on your HDD

This happened to me also (when I finished over half of Fort Frolic on hard mode). Simply go to a bathysphere and load another level. Then return to the level you were on. Reloading the level helped me.
