Sony Bravia 46" KDL-46V3000

I'm about to make my first big delve into a HDTV. I have a large room with too many windows, so i'm thinking that a 46" LCD for the viewing angle and for glare is the way to go. I would like to go bigger, but don't have the money. After tons of research and a few trips to the local Best Buy, I've decided on the Sony KDL-46V3000. Anyone out there with a different suggestion or that has one that could tell me what they think?

u could get 52 inch samsung LCD 71 or 81 series from amazon for decent price, amozon pricing is best with lot of happy customers, check it out, no tax and free delivery.

I've done some more looking and am getting more confused. I think I want to stay with the Sony due to the sound quality. I have young kids and won't be pushing it though my suround sound very often. That being the case, the Samsung (while attractive) doesn't "sound" right.

What is getting confusing is trying to tell the difference between the Sony V/W/and XBR series TVs. I can get an XBR4 or a decent price off of "Abes of Maine", but i don't know if the 120hz is worth the extra $500.

I just don't know if Hz is like the big marketing hoopla of contrast ratio.

Thanks again for the help.
