I will have a Yamaha 6.1 600w a/v receiver and am willing to spen around $600 on front, rear, and surround speakers. I have found Klipsch Synergy III 4" 2 way center for rear and front and te 5 1/4 2 way bookshelf. Any opinions and input would be helpful

I just went through much reading and investigating on a speaker system. I finally decided on ORB. They are a small outfit that sells direct to the consumer. Their speakers are very crisp. Sound is awesome. The speakers themselves look like 5" spheres in either black or white. The subwoofer is the best I've heard in a medium size room. A 6.1 system will cost about $700-800. Shipping was only $9.00 for Fedex ground. I read every review I could find on the net before deciding on trying them and I couldn't fine 1 negative review. The worst I could find was people who were skeptical about them, but had never heard them. Since they offered a 30 day money back trial (where the most I'd be out was shipping and my time setting them up), I bit. Needless to say, I'm keeping them. They were very accomodating, I wanted white speakers all around, except for the two I was going to use for a center channel which I wanted in black (Panasonic Plasma is black and I have it mounted on a brick wall). No problem and no extra charge. The only problem I had was contacting them. Since I wanted mixed colors I wanted to order from a person, not online. I had to call three time before I got a live person (which I guess means they are selling a lot since the people who answer actually know their stuff and can actually help you).
