Try to read this , can you say Sony. Go to costco. And try doing reasearch like the rest of us have. Your eyes will see diffent pics on the sets anyways thats why your question is just asking our opinons. You need to start surfing and reading, just because I post a 47" tv you bust my but so do your own reasearch dude. If you have a size limitation try to state that, size matters in HDTV, you will find out.

I don't know man I though I did give you a size limitation. Looks like I said 32"-40" right in my first post.

Then you post about a 47" HDTV. That is why I busted your balls about it, because you obviously didn't read the post. Since I clearly give a size limitation. Also gave a price limitation as well.

I think zrod meant well, he was trying to get you more tv for just $100 more than your upper level price range..

I was just trying to get you alot of tv for around 1800 bucks, when you have 23 posts should you be " busting balls" when someone responds to your post ? Not a great way to start out.

s70driver you might want to keep in mind that these people DON`T have to help you. The only reward they receive is a polite "thank you" from those of us who are grateful for their advice. When you finally get your TV, you just might need some help in setting up the calibration etc. You might find that sarcasm results in very few replies. That`s my:2cents worth. And no advice from me.

Well thanks guys for all your responses, but seriously I set limitations for a reason. I wanted you guys to follow those limitations and not go beyond them.

Should I be busting balls? Maybe not, but I wouldn't have to come down on you if you had just followed what I said I wanted. But you didn't so I corrected you.

Your right people don't have to help. And to be honest I don't expect you to, but people will, but hopefully they follow the limitations I set. If they don't the information is useless to me.

*Basically it is like me telling a pool company hey I need a 24 foot by 36 foot in ground pool put in my back yard and then they try to sell me a 29 foot by 41 foot pool because it is just that much better. Limitations set for a reason so follow them.

Uh maybe your Mom should have talked to you about being polite. The appropriate response would be: Thanks but I am limited in size, any other suggestions would be appreciated.
BTW LCD does not display1080i only 1080p(1920 x 1080) or 720p(1366 x 768)
Most good TVs at the 40 inch range with 1080p are over your price range. 1080p is arguably useless on TVs smaller than 50 inches unless you sit about 4 feet away. I may be wrong and you dont want to be informed so here is a list of TVs

Don't tell me what the right response would have been. I set fucking limitations for a fucking reason. I expect members of this forum to read my post and post accordingly. Not to post something outrageous as a 47" TV when I set limitations at 32" to 40" and 40" being the max. For christ sake fucking get on topic now or don't help me at all.

Sorry for the outburst, but you guys obviously don't understand limitations when someone sets them and if your going to argue with me about it, then don't help me.

Your on your own now scooter. We understand limitations you don't understand politeness. No one is arguing with you about your limitations- we understand your limited, It is not our fault you don't play well with others..
Now that you have alienated anyone who would have help good luck getting any.

Doesn't bother me a damn bit. The first poster could have followed my rules but he didn't he went beyond it. So w/e.

The problem began and ended with the first person who posted in this thread.

why must you use profanity? people are really very helpful on this forum. The use of profanity seems completely uncalled for and only goes to show your ignorance! It ruins the message board for others and is a complete waste of time, as people go to read the thread to learn, and instead come across the use of your profanity! You must have anger issues! As all the first person was trying to do was get you a bigger set for your money! You could have corrected it politely, or maybe you could not due to your anger issues?..... I think you need help, but it's not from this site!!!!!!

Oh and BTW...... You should have said.... NOTHING BIGGER THAN 40" I have a space restriction........ Who doesn't want a bigger TV for the same money?...... You should have been clearer if you were so restricted to a size!!!!! Pure ignorance on your own part!!!

Right there, you didn't need to come into this thread and push your crap wisdom onto me and others. You could have left it alone. Instead you come in here and ruin the thread even more. Get out unless you have something to say about 32"-40" LCD TV's.

Oh and BTW...... You should have said.... NOTHING BIGGER THAN 40" I have a space restriction........ Who doesn't want a bigger TV for the same money?...... You should have been clearer if you were so restricted to a size!!!!! Pure ignorance on your own part!!!

Holy crap, what about 32"-40" LCD HDTV's don't you understand. That is a size restriction. Thusly if I wanted bigger HDTV's I would have specified as so, but I didn't I specified 32" to 40" LCD HDTV's. Nothing bigger nothing smaller.

How true, how true .. .. s70 . . . . he's called the OP, or Original Poster . . . .

No no, I didn't say OP. I said "first poster". Op isn't considered first poster. It is the OP, Original Poster. Not first poster. Get it right big shot.

Now if we can't get back on topic just close and or delete this thread.

Yeah he would be buying one for our porch.

I want to buy one for my bedroom. And the 32"-40" restriction that I set was for my room.

*Same applies for our porch too. We cannot go over 40" because we are going to be wall mounting it between two windows.

Also if you guys can't come into this thread without making some smartass comment then don't come into this thread. Got it.
