hey guys
I have a Panasonic 27" tube tv at home and it has the blue green and red component cable jacks in the back of it, i have the monster xbox component cables as well.

my question is does my tv support 480p or just 480i, or all of the hi def resolutions.

When my xbox is set to 480p on the dashboard, all dvd movies play crisp and fine, where as halo 2 (wich supports 480p) just has a scrambly picture as soon as it cuts into the "Microsoft Game Studios" logo. Should i enable all resolutions on my xbox (480p, 720p, and 1080i.) And also, when all my resolutiion settings are turned off, does the picture just stay as a default 480i or what.

Im at school right now do im not too sure of the model of tv. but its a 2002 version tv.

a little help would be greatly apreciated

Without knowing your model number we can only guess by bringing up a 27" model online. One model (CT-27HL14) is an HDTV monitor and is capable of 480i/480p and 1080i. It's possible that your TV is similar and wouldn't support 720p similar to some other CRT HDTVs.
