is it normal for your signals to read like this or is these to low:

73 54 71 53 72 56 69 56 1-8

73 60 70 58 74 65 N/A N/A 9-16

74, the rest NA 17-24

What are most of you getting on the 103b?

NormalFrom what I seen elsewhere posted on 103b you are on the low side, I am in the low to mid 90's on all available transpoders.

Thats unbelieveable! I hope they can fix me tomorrow, the channels were coming in and out for the longest, now they have been in for 3 days, I just dont want that to start happening again.

Your signals are a bit on the low side. The general feeling is that you should have signals in the 80s across the board on 103(b). Certainly if you have 80s DirecTV is very unlikely to send a tech to do an alignment. You can still get the channel even if you are in the 60s, or even (based on some posts) as low as the 40s, but there's no margin for rainfade.
A very well-aligned dish will have 103(b) signals in the 90s. When 103(b) started up I was in the high 70s/low 80s, with all my other signals looking OK (my locals come from 103(a) so 99(b) does not matter.). I decided to fine-tune my AT-9 and very quickly got signals into the 90s - mine are now 94 to 98. Peaking the 103(b) signals also pushed my other signals higher, even though they were good to begin with. 101 went from low-mid 90s to high 90s/100, 110 went from low to high 90s, 119 from high 90s to 100 on nearly every transponder, and my 103(a) locals transponders went from low 90s to 98/100. Of course my picture will not be any better but at least I have a lot more rain-fade margin.
