From what I understand both networks are owned by Comcast and they both split time on one channel. For example, if there is a golf tournament on, that will be shown on 604. If there is an NHL game, that will be shown on 604. This channel has been in place for the better part of the year on many of the cable providers. I'm sure you can get more specific info on one of those forums.

Hope that helps

Versus HD

Versus recently announced Versus HD, a new high-definition simulcast of Versus. In certain Comcast markets, another channel, Versus/Golf HD, will be presenting alternating content from both Golf Channel and Versus. The channel's abbreviation is given in electronic program guides as "VSGLF". Prior to the launch of Versus/Golf HD, Versus HD content was presented on the former INHD/INHD2.

I assume that when there is live golf in HD, mostly on Thursday's and Friday's (networks on the weekend), that it will be on 604, with the SD version on 605.

This channel was available on Comcast and was shared as well. If you're a golf fan, don't delete SD Golf Channel on 605. You will see they don't broadcast all the golf in HD.
