Hi

any help setting up my new configuration would be greatly appreciated...

i have a Toshiba 26HL67 tv
an Emerson EDVR95E dvdr
and a Motorola DCT6416III HD receiver

in theory what i'd like to do his have all 3 work, with the dvdr being able to record the higher channels, even tho i realize they wont be recorded as hd, but was told the quality will be a bit better, also would be able to get wide screen. How true this is, i have no idea.

no matter which way ive tried to hook things up, i get 'no video signal' on the tv.

everything works wonderfully of course when the dvdr isnt in the picture :)

any ideas?

thanks.

Connect 6416 to DVDR with S-video:
Connect DVDR to TV with either HDMI or component:
Connect 6416 to TV with either HDMI or component:

With this;
you can record directly to the DVDR or you can copy material from the 6416 to the DVDR.

Make sure that you have the TV set to the correct input; make sure that you have the DVDR set to the correct input; make sure the DVDR is turned "on" if you want to watch "live" programs passed through.

should work
