After finally buying the tv I have been eyeing up I went on eBay to look for cables to buy to get my set going. After exploring through all of the different cables I noticed that the price range was around $70 form the same cables just different names. I was just wondering if there was a difference in picture and sound quality, would I notice if I bought a $100 Monster cable as apose to a $25 no name.

forget eBay on this one, you will get much better quality and service from www.monoprice.com

I have purchased many cables from them over the last year, both for work and for myself and family and have been VERY pleased with the quality of the cables supplied and their price.

Check Atlona cables, they are 1.3 tested and 1440P tested. You might have an advantage overtime with cables that can handle higher bandwidth and pass higher refresh rates. There is a lot of equipment comming out that will require good interconnects to be used in order to get the full advantage.

Thanks
