I just had installed high-definition with my cable provider to my tv, and I also have an x-box 360. My tv only has one hdtv input (3 to be exact) but was wondering if there is a splitter, or anything to make it possible for 2 to be supported by the tv.

You don't need a splitter but a switch. Try monoprice.com

What are you saying? You have ONE-- but need exactly THREE???

Specifically-- what INPUT do you have? HDMI, DVI, COMPONENT, VGA, other?

Sorry, I meant input 3 is the only HDTV capable input.

I only need that one HDTV input to work for both my Xbox 360 and the cable HDTV service.

Checking out monoprice and product id 3047

(cant post urls yet)

Is that what I need?

Hmm, that is a HDMI switch. Are you saying your TV only has 1 HDMI and you need to add another?? Your now have your cable connected HDMI and you just got a new 360 Elite with HDMI and you need to connect it as well?? If so, that will do the trick. For an extra $15 or so you might be better off getting the 3 input with remote. In case you need to add another HDMI input down the line.

BTW, if you TV has HDMI, I will also guess it has at least a couple component (blue, red and green) video inputs and perhaps VGA/RGB. Those are analog but also support HD feeds. And do a great job doing it as well. Just FYI. What is your TV's model# to confirm????

Good Stuff:D :D

Hmm never heard of that model and ard to find on the web. I will assume then that it has 1 component (red, green and blue) input and you need another 1 of those.?. They do sell component switches that do the same thing, but they are a bit more expensive. Does that LCD have a VGA input? Then a $19 360 VGA cable with be your best bet. If not, you need something like this.

I found an A-Neutronics HDTV 4:2 switcher/splitter but it's price is 129.00 and I am lookin for something a little cheaper, and would only need a 2:1 or something lower scale.

Hey Man, check this thing out. It may be just what you need. And I seen it as low as $35 shipped at CompUSA but was sold out :crying: or maybe NOT. I also seen it on Radio Shacks web for $49 :yippee: . I think it has up to 3 component or S-video inputs and 1 out to the TV so that will give you 1 to spare. It even has a remote and a place to put your games. I heard of someone getting one of these a while back and that it worked great. I would check into it.
