Problems in the UK Concerning HD Delivery to the Public.

I hate to agree with the BBC but they are right, if the space is auctioned off then the terrestrial channels will never be able to compete with the likes of Sky HD and all HD will be pay per view or subscription.

But the UK government has to make as much money as it can because it has spent so much trying to prop up the NHS and will be spending even more if the proposed black boxes in cars goes ahead that it is unlikely they will gift anything to the BBC, Channel 4, Channel 5 or ITV.

It looks increasingly likely that in the UK you will have subscription only HD TV channels with a set of HD ppv ones like a HD ppv sports arena channel and films.

Now if they give free HD over the air I know a few people who would be very happy to watch :)
