People travel for different reasons, sometimes for business and other times for leisure. But whatever your reasons may be comfort and convenience are things that you cannot do without. Especially nowadays that staying connected is a vital factor in this very mobile and fast-paced society that we live in. Well, correct me if I am wrong of course.

Giant hotel chain Marriott is aware of how important it is for their clients to be connected at all times that’s why by the end of the year Marriott International envisions that the JW Marriott, Marriott, and Renaissance in the US and Canada should be outfitted with the 32-inch LCD HDTVs. Since the hotels are that huge their target is at least 25 percent of their totality.

Marriott’s idea is quite a clever one because the 32-inch LCD HDTV they will use is unlike any other since allows for digital connectivity. Through it their clients will be able to do up gadget integration where clients can connect their laptops, digicams, video games, iPods and camcorders into it. This strategy is certainly a very convenient one and really something that Marriott clientele can look forward to in the very near future.

I will have to make it a point to start using them more. :) More and more hotels are doing this. We sell in bulk to a few companies that are installing thousands of cables into alot of new hotels on the west coast.

Makes a great deal of sense. Pratically every travelling businessman carries a laptop so now he can watch HIS movie(s) just by plugging into the screen.

As more and more laptops incorporate HD drives he can also bring his HD movies with him and maybe watch "something" that his wife either may not enjoy . . . .or know about.

I was on the road 5 days a week every other week for a year and I wish I had this ability.

I'll have to let my wife know as she works for Marriott. I don't think she knows about this, but I will find out.
