I Hopefully go HD Tomorrow, The installer just need them to show up :)

Now I'm new to ALL of this HD 1080 - 720 stuff. So when he sets everything up, Will I later on have the option of choosing What I see in 1080 and 720?? is this a remote choice??

Or does it have to be ONE viewing way ant not the other?? Now If you can, is it hard to do?? How does it work??..

I ask cause I read some people here watch programming in different modes sports 1080 - tv - movies 720, Me?? I just wanna be up to speed when he is installing the HD DVR and 5 lbn dish...

So please explain it to me :) and are their any questions I should ask.

I've had DTV since 95, my brother went HD this past summer - 3lbn on a plasma - I have a samsung 4051..

Thanks

You will want to set it up for Native mode in setup. It will pick the right resolution for your program.

Or, you can manually change it per program if that's what you prefer, but you would need to know what stations broadcast in what.

EX: ABC/FOX/ESPN = 720P. NBC/CBS = 1080i

I'd just use Native, and select 480P, 720P, and 1080 and let the box change it to the correct format that's being broadcast.

Nah, it's just in the menu on setup. It's pretty easy, you'll see once you have the screen up.

If u have problems, just post and well help you.
