HR-20 Tivo questions

I currently use Direct TV 1 analog and 1 HD receivers. I have 2 stand alone tivos with 2 500 HD in each for alot of storage which is almost full. I have just upgraded to the HR-20 and it should be installed Jan 3. Direct TV said I would have to wait 6 months before they could sell me another HR-20 becuase of the wait list. I bought another HR-20 from best buy so I will have 2.
My questions are.
1. will the USB hook up allow a large hard drive to be hooked up and will it be the same as increasing the size of current hard drive for recording . If not and it is just used for storage is there any companys midifing the HR-20 with larger Hard drives?
2. Can the HR-20 be hooked into the computer like tivo to save, back up and recall programing.
3. If you have 2 HR-20 can you view on the second one, the programing from the first one like tivo.
4. Can you use the analog tuner in the HR-20 (which has 2 tuners, hi def and analog) as output to stand alone tivo to get tivo guide and to control programing.
5. can you record (or copy from) and watch HR-20 porograms on a computer.

As you can tell from the questions, I need more recording space on the HR-20's and would like tho have as many tivo features I now have.
Thanks for any help becuase I don't know what to expect and in past dealing with direct tv, I never get the right answers to questions and sometimes feel like a beta tester.

1. D* has a port for an external hard drive already in place
I do not have a TIVO , so I cannot correctly answer some of your questions.
Some of the features that may be missing ,may be due to the TIVO patent, which is where all this neew for a new DVR came in the first place.

You can get your TiVo modified to add a firewire port and transfer material to a computer. See: Want To Record In HD To Your Computer? (http://www.highdefinitionblog.com/?p=242)
