Not All Blu-ray Movies Have Durabis Protective Coating!

I just found out not all Blu-ray Movies have Durabis Protective Coating. In fact, most Sony movies use a cheaper, generic coating that is more prone to break-down from scratches...

It should be noted that the Durabis coating is not required for Blu-ray or any other optical disc, and both Sony and Panasonic have their own independent hard coating technologies that are primarily in use on Blu-ray pre-recorded discs.

I have never seen a conformal coating that over time did not discolor, peel, split, de-laminate, chip, or crack. Should be interesting to see what happens to folks BD title collections in a few years.
