Does anyone know when Indianapolis will get local HD? My installer said that the problem is with Indianapolis not allowing Dishnetwork to capture the signal. Is that really the case?

No, my understanding is that Indy and Raleigh have both been uplinked on the satelite and are awaiting activation. With that said, I don't know what that process actually consists of, but I have been told to expect both to be activated by the end of August. I was told to watch the list at http://www.dishchannelchart.com/, which has shown the exact channels assigned to each of the Raleigh and Indy locals, but its not loading today...maybe down for maintenance.

It's going to take one of the new 1000+ dishes to receive them like is happening in Detroit and St Louis. The new dishes are in very short supply and they keep postponing installs in those markets due to lack of inventory. Indianapolis is said to be activated sometime this fall.

Is Raleigh in the same boat?

I have been told by three different installers (1 dish employee, 2 subs) that the problem is with the local stations. Guess what over......$$$$$$. Other wise, they would have been up about a month ago.
