NESN or YES in HD

I understand directv will be using a spot beam to give us more HD sports games. From what I understand , whatever market your team is located in , you will receive a 24/7 hd feed from the corresponding network. In my case , I live in the Hartford market and right now i am getting a few YES network games showing up on ch 95. I receive NESN in sd, but never in HD. When this spot beam is activated { July 18th} will I receive both or just one of the HD feeds . This is a weird one because Im technically in a market that has three mlb teams . My only hope is that I will get the YES network all the time rather than once in a while , and will I finally get NESN in HD ? This is getting pretty confusing now. I think the bottom line is to get the h-20 upgrade along with the 5lnb dish and just hope for the best.

I am not sure on Hartford, but it you get YES and NESN now included in your local package, I would imagine you would be in the YES and NESN spot beams for the HD channels. Therefore, I would imagine you would get both.

I haven't seen if they are spot beaming YES yet, but as previous posts indicate, NESN is coming if it isn't already there.

Your best bet is to call DTV. I always call retention.. they always help me. Scroll down on the board to find the Retention subject post for the number.

Just ask the guy or girl what HD spot beams are available or coming available in your area.

I live in Columbus Ohio (used to live in West Springfield Mass, and yeah I miss it) and they told me straight up that I will get STO now and FSN Ohio this fall.

Columbus aint so bad though........Go Bucks.
