Blazing Saddles in HD

Have you seen Blazing Saddles? This is the best looking movie I've seen so far! Maybe the studios are getting better at the transfer process. When it comes out of the opening credits (the opening credit scene looks very blah and old like an old movie does), anyway, when it comes out of the credits and onto the scene at the railroad tracks, I just about got blown off the couch with the picture quality!

The movie looks like it was filmed yesterday, not 32 years ago !!! Amazing Saddles they should re-name it:yippee:

This Hi def movie business had better be here to stay, cause I am hooked ladies and gentleman!

To add, there is an hour and a half of extras. On the same disc!

You guys were right, looked absolutely perfect. I even flipped back to HDNet, which is very clean and could tell BS was better.

Thanks for the recommendation!

Watched it last night using 1080i (component), and I agree, really awesome; in fact, I consider it reference material for PQ over 10 years old.

I agree!

Except that this movie is close to 30 years old isn't it?

Yes, the movie is 1972ish, I assumed my statement of "over 10 years old" would include that, like John Wayne's "The Searchers" will when it gets released; which is also over 10 years old.
Sorry I confused you.

it's still a hoot. Sorry I'm not politically correct and don't care either. :)
