Hi,
Unforetuinately Basetbuy does not provide Sony previous HDTVs (the generation before Xbro).
Since I have store credits from them I have to buy from them.

So any suggestion regardinmg which ones are good?

1- Toshiba 30HF66

last year consumer report was saying bad stuff about previous toshioba 26hf85
is new one better?

2- Philips 30PW910D o

could not find any review

3- samsung slim fit TXS3082 WH

the kid in best buy was saying near the borders the picture quality goes bad.

any suggestion or comment?

btw i can go bigger than 30. my room is small.

i even was thinking to go with a sony 27" sdtv if the above are bad TVs?
but i am afraid that sdtv wont be obsolete in a year right?

I have both the Toshiba and Samsung.. I think as far as picture quality goes, the Toshiba is the better set, however my wife has the Sansung Slim-Fit her hobby room and has had no compalints with it. The slim fit takes up much less room and is considerably lighter..
