I currently have had my Direct Tv HD programming for 8 mos . A few years ago I lost my Normal Round Dish to a tree falling on it as it was hanging on a tree next to it. So I upgraded to the Oval dish I used it for normal programming until I got HD . I then attempted to get the signal for all 3 Satts after 2 friggin days of moving the dish settings and putting the dish on top of my house , garage all over my 1.5 acre yard I gave up when i got sat A and C to come in perfect . Although at 1 point of trying to get sat B only to come in to see if it worked I got a 50ish signal .

Any ideas of what to do ?? Im pissed now I dont have HDnet (did they move it to SatB ??) And I have always been able to do this stuff myself ...I give up and may call DTV .Just not sure how much a service call is for sumtin like this if I own all my DTV Equip. BTW I live in the Middle of NH and wonder if the Antenna thing may help get HD channels local in .....Which I dont get any locals in HD.

Thx Patrick

Mittsubishi DLP owner Jonesin for more HD

Patrick. I would call D* and tell them your problem. Since you are paying for the services I would almost bet they would come out for free.
As far as locals in HD. I live pretty close to the stations (5-10 miles) but their transmitting attenas are 30-50 miles away and I can't pick them up with good quality. I assume it would be how close you are to the antennas.

I agree. I also had problems and they were so nice! they sent a dude right out to fix it free. if they want$ tell them no! you shell out enough! tell them Dish will do it free.
